During July 2026, Dr. Swami Yugal Sharan Ji conducted a series of Spiritual Retreats across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, bringing together seekers for days of satsang, Bhakti Sadhana, meditation, kirtan, and scriptural discussions. Organised in Shahdol, Korba, Balod, Ramgarh, and Giridih, these retreats became centres of devotion and spiritual awakening, inspiring participants to strengthen their relationship with God through sincere practice.
The spiritual journey began in Shahdol (10–12 July), near the sacred region of Amarkantak, where devotees immersed themselves in satsang and reflections on the true purpose of human life. Through practical teachings on Bhakti Yoga, Dr. Swami Yugal Sharan Ji explained that lasting peace can only be attained through loving devotion to God, association with saints, and regular spiritual practice.
The next retreat was held in Korba (13–16 July), surrounded by the serene beauty of forests, rivers, and ancient temples. Daily sessions of kirtan, meditation, and scriptural discourses encouraged participants to cultivate humility, surrender, and constant remembrance of God amidst the responsibilities of daily life.
From 16–19 July, devotees gathered in Balod, where the peaceful atmosphere provided an ideal setting for deeper introspection. Satsang, devotional singing, and discussions on Sanatan Dharma enabled participants to experience the transformative power of sincere Bhakti while learning practical ways to integrate spirituality into everyday living.
The retreat then continued in Ramgarh (20–22 July), a region renowned for its sacred temples and spiritual heritage. Drawing inspiration from the holy atmosphere, devotees reflected upon the eternal principles of Bhakti and the importance of developing unwavering faith, divine love, and selfless service.
The final retreat of the series took place in Giridih (23–26 July), nestled amidst the tranquil hills of Jharkhand. The serene surroundings perfectly complemented the teachings on Bhakti Sadhana, allowing participants to deepen their spiritual practice through attentive listening, chanting, meditation, and heartfelt devotion.
A special feature of these retreats was the Nagar Parikrama accompanied by Harinaam Sankirtan. As devotees joyfully chanted the divine names of Radha and Krishna through towns and villages, the atmosphere became charged with devotion and spiritual enthusiasm. This sacred tradition reflects the universal compassion of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who desired that the Holy Name reach every corner of the world:
"Pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma,
Sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma."
The congregational chanting also reminds us that the mercy of the Holy Name extends to all living beings. As Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj often explained, following the teachings of the saints, even those who cannot chant themselves receive immense spiritual benefit simply by hearing the Lord's names:
"Paśu pakṣi kīṭādi bolite nā pāre,
Śunile Harināma tāra saba tāre."
Thus, every Nagar Parikrama became not only a procession of devotees but also an expression of compassion, carrying the divine vibration of Harinaam to people, animals, birds, and the entire environment.
Across all five locations, these Spiritual Retreats fulfilled a single mission—to spread the message of Sanatan Dharma and inspire every seeker to advance on the path of Bhakti. As participants returned home, they carried with them not only cherished memories but also renewed enthusiasm to continue their spiritual journey through remembrance of God, satsang, seva, and the chanting of the Holy Name.
May these retreats continue to awaken devotion in countless hearts and inspire humanity towards divine love and God-realisation.
